I was born on the 23rd of July 1969 in the port of Chetumal Q.Roo Mexico which is 350 km from Cancun and 30 km from the border with Belize, were I was fortunate to have lived for many years of my childhood, with my mother’s family.
I finished both my elementary and high-school education there that`s the reason for my first language to be english since Belize was a British colony until 1981.
Many beloved relatives and friends still remain there.
The following years were spent in Cancun, Cabo San Lucas in Baja and subsequently Puerto Vallarta Mexico.
Since I met Danna (Professional piercer), besides my son Emmanuel, 7 years old, whom I tenderly love. I also have a 19 years old son, Sergio, and Hector, who is 13. They both live in Guerrero, Mexico.
I was introduced to the wonderful world of tattoo here in Puerto Vallarta by coincidence, some friends needed someone who spoke good english to help with customers in the shop, so I offered to help for a period of two maybe three months later for whatever money they wanted to give me.
Three months later I was drawing custom designs for customers, ordering needles and learning the technical part of tattooing.
It was somewhat bewildering but I found out that I was doing something, that made me happy and fulfill of course there was a long way from being happy and satisfied with my tattoos specially when I went throw tattoo magazines and seeing such exceptionally great work by so many tattoo artists made me realize I was not even on my way at the time.
One thing I knew for sure, that I was going to give it all I had, I was going to see each client as someone special giving me the chance to do something on that only space of skin for the rest of their lives.
I have been very fortunate to have my own tattoo shop, after only been introduced to tattooing a year before that was because the shop I was working and learning was going to be closed for good.
With the faith and support of Danna, my best friend and my companion in good and bad times, we started together our life in the world of the tattooing and body piercing art, being Danna the piercer in the Maya's tattoo, and my apprentice in the art of tattooing.
We have worked years together for having an intact and solid reputation.
We have been fortunate in having our tattooing and body piercing shop, after being introduced in it.
I was scared of not being able to learn to tattoo as I dreamed of.
I am still a long ways from doing so the good news about the shop was that the owner offered to sell the shak with very little ink and some old flash along with a superior tattoo machine
